TITLE OF SHOW : That Trendy Show

FORMAT OF SHOW : Reality Series, Sci-fi, Fantasy

Episode 1: Series begins with man being forcibly removed from his house by strangers and taken to block party where he encounters a strange mix of occult and pop culture references. He learns the entire neighborhood is an art collective and he's been chosen to live there... but no one tells him why. So in order to uncover the mystery of the collective he must delve deeper into the story the collective is producing, to which he discovers eerie similarities between his life and the story. Paranoia sets in.

Episode 2: "The Sazzle Dazzle Breakfast". It's his first day at the commune and he's learning how the collective works: everyone produces segments of the story with the hopes it gets included in the broadcast or some other medium the collective produces (comic books, for example). He's constantly walking into scenes being filmed by other artists, only he's unaware it's all staged and he's being "punk'd". The scenes he's unwittingly a part of are in fact designed to jog his memory. This is all interspersed with highly produced segments concerning the core story.

Episode 3: "Diamonds in the Rough". The Man gets lured into a sub-culture within the commune. Three mysterious figures are revealed.

Episode 4: "333". A creepy conspiracy cult, a seedy bar, and a central character who won't live to see how any of it plays out. Detectives assigned to the case are at a loss to explain how it happened. School's out forever. So where do you go?

Episode 5: "The MONITOR". A concerned citizens group takes notice of That Trendy Show. Mass hysteria.

Episode 6: "Kill your boyfriend". Fortune teller reveals bizarre message when one cast member embarks on a dangerous mission to learn about the true nature of magic.

The point of the ART COLLECTIVE is creating the rest of the story together. So we need a lot of people with different skill sets—anyone who is a: writer, actor, dancer, illustrator, musician, magician, sculptor, photographer, make-up artist, fashion designer, animator, programmer, engineer, and especially lawyers! The process is essentially autonomous—artists 'work at their own pace' and only provide content they feel inspired to create. An editor (anyone can act as an editor) then synthesizes that content provided by the group into various products and/or media on behalf of the collective. The collective takes the money earned by the products and/or media and pays for things like rent, food, and resources—like how communism was supposed to work! This Virtual Hub has an 'assignments' section for artists to post and accept jobs needed to create products and/or media.

What's The Plan Again? Parties provide the backdrop for a series of video shorts produced by the commune. Parties are also recruitment gatherings for art group. More artists mean more resources for group. Group then sells typical merchandise: SHIRTS, APPS, GAMES, COMICS, VIDEOS.
